Get Involved: Long-Term Opportunities!

Dubuque Trees Forever needs a wide variety of volunteers to make our projects a success.

Help us us educate our community, advocate for funding, track and measure our progress, and secure grants and donations to support tree planting.

If you’re interested in a longer-term volunteer commitment with our organization, check out our opportunities below and contact us!

  • Trailer Team

We are looking for 3 to 4 people with a pick up truck that can help haul our trailer to our project sites. We want to have several so we can rotate through the year.

  • Orchard Team

Want to be part of the care team for our orchard and pollinator garden? Individuals and organizations welcome. Sign up here to be notified of opportunities to get involved!

  • Tree Care Team: Water and Mulching

We are developing several small teams that will help water and our newly planted trees and mulch in needed areas. The more teams we have, the fewer times each team is needed. We would provide equipment. This is a great team-building opportunity for your workplace.

  • Board Members

Each fall we look for new board members to help guide the work we do. We are looking for people with enthusiasm for actively making a difference in our community to leave a green and beautiful legacy for Dubuque. Board terms are two years. Are you interested in participating? Contact us for an application or more information. Deadline is November 15.
